HAMLET is only three days old in the photos below.   As you can see, Hamlet has a small white star on his forehead and consequently, cannot be used for breeding.  In addition, at  5 months, we discovered that HAMLET had suffered an infection around his heart, which coupled with a newly detected heart murmur, means that he is likely not going to be the strong performance horse we had hoped.   However, he has recovered remarkably over the winter and the vet assures us that he will make a great using horse for any family who does not aspire to marathons or endurance rides.   To see him race around the paddock with his half-brother Hannar, is a joy in itself.  He has no idea his Olympic career has been cut short.  HAMLET has inherited the lovely movement of his famous grandsire Felix, along with that of his sire, and both are renowened for their even temperments.
