Hands across the ocean or what size carriage will fit my horse or pony?
This is an obvious question for anyone considering the purchase of a carriage. We can provide you with a rule of thumb, but we like to customize our carriages, to the extent possible, to both horse and driver. That leads us to the question, how big is your horse or pony?
We often have to translate questions about the correct size of carriage to order for your horse or pony. Given that the metrics vary from one side of the Atlantic to the other, Matts and Matilda are more familiar with centimetres than hands.
